We are always looking for different tests and approaches to achieve the same goal. Be it changing the creative, changing the bidding method or targeting a completely different audience. Who said that creativity has to be separate to analytics? We are challenging that! There are lots of tools and features that each biddable platform puts in front of you. In fact there are so many that you feel like you are flying an aeroplane where you have lots of buttons and sensors and it’s just overwhelming. However the good part of it is that it allows you to be creative with the way you run your ads. The choice of audiences, devices, placements, bidding methods etc. makes a big difference to the end result and there is no right or wrong. There can be so many variations of settings that one can test to find the optimal combination for the desired goal. Creativity is crucial to this and imagination is key. This is what we believe in here at Akebia.
Our Story
We want to create an agency that starts from efficiency and has efficiency at its core. Everything else will resolve by itself if the advertising budget will be spent efficiently and the clients business will thrive and grow.
Most advertisers develop some best practices or follow Facebook or Google best practices and that’s how they run their ads. The problem is that everyone follows the same methods. We believe that to “beat the market” one has to be different and spot those opportunities that others don’t. Be open to everything. Don’t be constrained by an existing pool of “proven techniques”. Find loopholes and don’t be intimidated by those who say that that’s not the recommended approach. The rules don’t matter as long as you get the results (at least in ad inventory buying). We find that there is not enough creativity going on in inventory buying so we are determined to change that. And that’s how Akebia Digital was born.

Hi, I am Oleg and I am really good at spotting optimisation opportunities for social media ad campaigns. I remember those days when Facebook was only on desktop and you could only do right hand side ads. Look where it is now! What a transformation! I love how fast the social media landscape is changing. There is no end to it. It is fascinating and challenging at the same time. But enough about that. In my spare time I play ping-pong and tennis. I also like photography and reading a good book.
